I am 23 years old. been gaming off and on for 3 years, never in any set genre. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful kids, 22 month old boy and 4 month old girl.
I am looking for groups that get into their characters and have a good gm/dm that actually knows the rules and modes of the game and doesn't ho-hum around what the characters say and do and can actually explain how the game works to someone who knows hardly anything about any specific genre or game style. I need a gm/dm that is up front and honest about why things are going the way they are and set up house rules at the very beginning not half way through or speratically and make sure they are enforced equally on all players. every gm/dm/story teller i've played with has claimed something I do isn't allowed in the rule books for the system, not a house rule, but have not been able to show me it and I have not found it in any books, which my husband has quite a collection of. If the gm/dm said it was their call/house rules i wouldn't have too much of a problem with it. But trying to hide behind the books and can't show me angers me.
I may have 3 years experience but that is in our own styles and genre that we are making.
